We haven't done Dick's or Red Mill or Loretta's. I'm assuming the burger at Ma'Ono is the same one they did at Spring Hill. Loretta's sound interesting!

And, literally down the street from me. I would actually (maybe) be able to make that one! It's been way too long.
Miss you folks.

Lauren, someone told me that Red Mill sources their patties from the same location that Burger King does. Just FYI. Still, there's that mountain of bacon!

I didn't think I was going to like the burger at Golden Beetle (no cheese? sacrilege!) but I thought it was really good. The spice that was on the meat was good - in that warm Middle Eastern kind of way. We tried tons of items on the menu and I still really like the flatbread and dips. But I think they need to give more dip for the price. The cocktails were spectacular but the desserts disappointing.

That is an excellent way of putting it, Lauren. Totally agree. The burger - simply dressed with pickled onions and a tomato-garlic sauce - was delicious. There was talk of the bun being cold, but I didn't have a problem with that. I thought the sesame seeds (not McDo-esque, mind you) actually were a nice complement to the other flavors as well.
Definitely would go back.

I'm torn between two places. I really want you all to try the burger at The Burgundian in my neighborhood but I also have a Bloomspot deal for 8oz. Burger Bar that expires in May.
I'll go with the safe bet and pick The Burgundian.
I'll throw some May dates out there to see if we can get consensus:
Monday, May 7
Tuesday, May 8
Wednesday, May 9
Wednesday, May 23
Thursday, May 24
Tuesday, May 29
Thursday, May 31
