I know it must be bad form to put on the Bonk List someone who's married to, and mother to a young child with, a Genius who's extremely good-looking himself, but the heart wants what it wants:

Elizabeth Nunez

And, while we're talking about vocal artists who are married to (and mothers of young children with) other vocal artists who are themselves extremely talented and wildly good-looking:

Isabel Leonard

And, while we're talking about women who have sung Zerlina at the Met:

I've been going back and forth over the last couple of years about whether or not I want to bonk Kate Soper.

But now that I've seen her perform her adorable piece, Only the Words Themselves Mean What They Say, live, in person, I've decided I kind of do.

I guess Vanessa Paradis still counts as being in the field of music.

(Karl Lagerfeld, OTOH, is neither in the field of music nor someone I want to bonk.)

Lotta Wennakoski.

Tonight's concert by Helsinki's Avanti Chamber Orchestra at Zankel Hall was curated by the great Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho. It featured new Finnish music. One of the pieces was by a former student of Saariaho's named Lotta Wennakoski. It was good. She came to the stage for her curtain call. OMG, she's adorable.

I tried to talk to her during intermission. But she at least pretended to have little more English than I have Finnish.

Forget your fiance (or husband, if it's already come to that) and come away with me.

Come on, she's not Jennifer Aniston.

You've got to see the way she carries herself. She's just adorable.

Also, when she attends concerts of her own music -- at least in New York -- at least last month -- she wears makeup.

Barbara Hannigan. (At least when she wears her hair down.)
