So you put the CD in CD drive, and then you should see an icon - right? To click on, to save it. And no icon comes up. Anything to be done?

It should show up on your desktop. But as I recall you need to put it all into a folder and tell the computer to burn it. I only do music these days. In finder you'll see a "new burn folder" hope this helps. Reread your post are you importing or exporting data?

Like anything else in this world, you have to know what you want to do then do it. Computers cannot read your mind, not even Macs. :) http://www.berkeleyb...isweekstrip.jpg

Ah, apparently this model preceded writeable CDs. Some attachment is needed. Any idea?

Thanks.

By “attachment” I assume you mean “peripheral device”? As in an external CD burner?

Another thought: e-mail the files to a computer that does have CD burning capabilities.

Yes a peripheral device. The e-mailing option assumes an internet connection - not available in this case.

Does it have a “floppy” (3.5 in.) disk drive?
