Why did I send my bike to Germany? Phooey.

edit: yeah I know there is another thread. I'm just feeling ornery.

I think I left a bicycle unlocked near the biology buildings by the quad about 20 years ago; it might still be there.

I think they actually hold an auction at the end of the summer for all the unclaimed bikes.

It must be spring--the Mr. Softee trucks are back out.

Waiting on the first ramps. That's when I'll know it's spring.
ďAnd another thing. You don't have to "move on" either. Not until you're ready. People say, Oh, you should be grateful. They say, Oh, it's time for you to move on. I'm like, What are you, a cop with a nightstick? I'll move on when I'm done playing the blues on my harmonica, thank you very much.

Really, people will tell you all kinds of garbage. Don't believe it.

You don't have to move on until you're ready.Ē

The sun is shining. Spring seems belatedly to have come to LA. (We like being on the cutting edge of the warmer seasons.)

i went for a walk in woods last week (damn it was muddy, my wife is bitching about it :P) and saw lots of ramp sprouts. i also saw a coyote and seven deer :P.

i have crocus, tulip, and daffodil sprouts out in may garden so i'm happy. now i need to rake the leaves that i didn't in the fall. :D

Beautiful sunshine as I strolled to the subway this morning. And now the sky is almost black and the temperature is falling like a piano out of a window.

The only thing spring-like here is the stupid time change. :( Otherwise, it's cold and wet still.

According to the forecast, light snow is a possibility. :(
