Never assume animosity when stupidity could be the cause.
Whichever side you're on, the other side doesn't just have bad ideas, they have to be bad people too.

I'm completely aware and truly grateful for the brouhaha (sp?). It's true. I do like walks on the beach, blah, blah, blah. But I am a food whore at heart and I don't know about 679 posts, but I'd happily offer myself up to review any restaurant you'd deem worthy. Any takers? And the mouthfuls link was a technical oversite (thanks for pointing it out) as I read daily, but never thought I should get involved personally. Alas, this is much more fun...

Well, as to whether there is self-promotion or not, that depends on whether the description sought to be advanced is viewed as positive or negative, no? Something that a given reader sees as self-promotional could be viewed as other than that by another reader.
