Can anyone read the title to this thread without it being set to music? I can't.

Lorna and I are headed down this weekend and got the Waterfront Marriott Downtown for $63/night. I can't recommend Priceline enough!

We plan on hitting:
K&Z
Toro Bravo
Clyde Common
Teardrop
Toro Bravo
Nostrana
Podnahs
and Tanuki

Can't wait!

Everytime we go to Portland, we use Priceline. We consistently get 4 star hotels for $80-$120 per night. Our last trip we stayed at the Hotel Monaco downtown for $80/night.

the trick is to check this site first:
Bidding for travel and base your first bid accordingly.

DO NOT MISS Teardrop Lounge, or the reuben at Kenny and Zukes (add chopped liver)!

Branzino is officially open. It is in the space that used to be En in Belltown. The chef was the original sous at Tilth. Some of our favorites were the flatiron steak with ramp butter, the gnocchi with lobster and truffles, and the pappardelle bolognese. Great addition to the neighborhood.

My Wolf freestanding range is great. It gets quite extensive use for the last 5 years and has no service issues. I chose it originally because it puts out 16K BTUs from all its burners. The comparable Viking maxes out at 15K. I'm not sure if the cooktops have the same BTU values.
