the politician from ryan murphy was an exciting ride

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

Last night’s SNL with Eddie Murphy was about as good as you could possibly imagine.

When he let out the accidental -- right? -- "shit," his face was priceless.

I'd hoped for a Garrett Morris cameo too.

In other TV news, for Christmas I have bought a Game of ThronesTM TitansTM Seven Kingdoms CollectionTM vinyl-figures box for lovely spouse, who's begun and loves the series as her new brain-deadening bedtime watching. I know nothing about the show and the box says the choice of pieces is a little random, but it seems to include a woman in armor and a dragon.

I saw him a few months ago.  He looks pretty frail now.

I think a “shit” works when the cake you baked to enter a TV food contest has human teeth and has opened up a portal to hell.

Sorry for spoiler.

In preparation for Carmen (the opera), we watched Carmen Jones. Shit that was bad, but Harry Belafonte was hot!

I rarely watch tv anymore but, we watched the first 3 episodes of something with reece witherspoon and jennifer aniston about a good morning america type show.. Steve Carel plays a matt lauer type.. it's pretty good..

Before that, we tried to watch, hunters, or the hunted, or something stupid like that.. Basically, nazi hunters in brooklyn in the 1970's or something.. Kind of seemed like a bad version of the Americans.. Al Pacino should just stop acting.. His legacy is at stake or maybe not.. but, yeh, he plays this eastern european jew.. he has the worst accents.. it's comical and boarding on insulting the way a Cuban should or would be insulted by his scarface accent.. hes ridiculous.. At one point, the nazi hunters added gas to an 80 year old womans shower and gassed her in there as to what I could only imagine was payback to a Nazi.. But, it was just so dumb and the show was so dumb and well, I got angry..  that is all.  Watch the Americans before watching this nonesense unless you are a mashugana

That's The Morning Show, and I liked it. Mostly - some episodes were a little too "Ripped from today's headlines!!!" for me.

Now we're on to The Outsider. Scary! Also stars Ben Mendolsohn (Danny from Bloodline), Cynthia Erivo and Mare Winningham, all of whom are great.

I think I will boycott TV until Euphoria season two, because everything else will be a disappointment.

We watched the whole thing.  Trust me, it doesn't get any better.  Especially the last episode.

We're re-watching The Americans (I didn't see much of it the first time around) as well as The Wire.

I watch very little current TV - I like Dr. Pol. Baseball season is almost here, and that will occupy my TV time a bunch. If anything, to see everyone hate on the Astros.

Watching HBO's "McMillion$", a 6-part documentary on how the McDonald's Monopoly game of the 1990s got rigged.  Fascinating stuff, but watching the story of some of these people (especially the Mob folks) is like watching a train wreck.

Yeah.  I enjoyed it, but it's very flawed.  And the last episode was a disaster.

Better Than Us on Netflix.  Surprisingly well-produced series from Russia.  Killer robots and all.  Pretty good.

Looking forward to starting season 3 of Sinner.
