If you're around on the evening of Tuesday, May 28, and are up to drinks and random noshing in an undisclosed popular East Village beer bar, please PM me for details and so we can let them know more or less how many people to expect.

but all the best people do it

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

Also leaving for a town located in the (sort of) Southeastern part of an Island. An obvious case of trying to keep up with the Johnsons.

You already live in the southeastern part of an island. This is pointless.

True. Plus there are about as many Japanese hairdressers in the EV as in our neighborhood there.

Seems like it'd be more fun to have your guests stagger drunkenly through all the EV beer bars until they find the right one.
I didn't tip at Per Se either.

Would love to see you off, but can't make it.

But you'll still be around here to fix everything, right?

I'll be packing for my trip to London that evening, but I wish you both the best.  Is this a permanent move?  Do you have a job lined up?

I don't know how permanent it is, it just makes a lot of sense for us to be in that time zone at the moment, and as long as we're in that time zone, Tokyo seems like an obvious choice. The Mossad is paying, of course.

I thought maybe Jamie Dimon was splitting it with Mossad.
