p.s. I need people, do you have people for me?

I wish. I wish I had people for me.
I didn't tip at Per Se either.

I started reading these articles a couple of weeks ago.  Initially I wasn't going to post a link but lately the number has become overwhelming.
Apple watch sales down 90% from launch.

Why the Apple Watch is flopping

Just 38% of current Apple Watch owners are recommending the device

But some people are saying that's OK

Considering how strong iPhone sales have been Apple can easily afford to keep releasing improved versions of the Watch and hope that eventually the mix of features and apps will appeal to a broader group of users.

"I don't understand what's wrong with thinking of correlation as a pricing convention the way one thinks of Black-Scholes vol. I mean, vol curves aren't "real" anyway, but nobody uses local vol models to price vanilla options." - Taion
"But this is blatant ultracrepidarianism on my part." - Taion

I have a dream of a multiplicity of pastramis.

eh, all of those are based on the Slice numbers.  which doesn't tell you much.  But I'm running across them more and more in the wild (and have found mine to be indispensable once you know how to use it).

what's interesting is the number of flat out wrong things I've read in the press (for example, that it hurts your iPhone battery life...the reverse actually; or that you can't add get walking directions on the Watch, or that Apple Pay doesn't work in Europe (it works everywhere in Europe actually) etc.)...of course some of that is Apple's fault.  there is a learning curve...and they haven't done a good job of explaining that)

I'm an iPhone owner and was an Apple Watch skeptic initially but the child who we thought would love a watch didn't so we had one sitting around. I've been wearing it for about 10 months and I like it. The ability to track my swim workouts (including which stroke is which) is far better than I imagined. And I like the goal-oriented activity ring stuff.

Not for everyone but works for me.
