Giuseppe Gonzalez's (and Ruben Rodriguez's) new bar, on Suffolk and E. Houston Streets.

Giuseppe's worked everywhere from Pegu to PKNY (and he's made me some damn fine cocktails)- here's Robert Morgan's Grub Street piece about GG:

Finally made our way to Suffolk Arms last night.

Immediately recognized one of the tenders, who used to work at Alder (Travis).

Had a couple of delicious cocktails - GG's classic Trinidad Sour and a Horse Apple, where they juice a whole Granny Smith apple, add the booze of your choice (in this case, Lairds's, cause why not?) and top is with some freshly grated horseradish. Sounds weird - tastes great.

It's really a beautiful space.
