I learn so much here!
It's not my circus,
not my monkeys.

Lunch prepared by a friend's mom in Hamburg many Mays ago. Brössel sauce, I think.

Wurzburg is an outrageously cute town. The whole drinking wine on the 14th century bridge tradition should be copied everywhere. Wurzburg is 85% of Salzburg with 10% of the Chinese, Americans and Brits.
My opinions are obviously my personal opinions. Not yours. Not universal.

Was in Frankfurt, Bamberg, Nuremberg and Wurzburg last week for spargel season.
Did you miss the pfifferlingen? 😊
Germany is full of seriously cute story book towns. I was talking once to a German scientist attending a conference in London about the beautiful mediaeval towns around the Luneberg Heide.
Him: “There were others, but you British bombed them.”
Me: “You started it. You invaded Poland.”
This was years after the Fawlty Towers episode, but I feel gives it retrospective validity.

Maybe I was there at that time.
Pretty sure this was a trip which took in Frankfurt, Freiburg, Heidelberg, Konstanz (and probably Stuttgart). Years ago, and it would have been summer, but more than that I don't know. It was before we started recording our whole lives online.
