I recently described arriving in the country to find the top quarter (35 feet) of our redwood snapped off by high winds.
This week, we arrived to find 2/3 of an olive tree ripped off, a large limb from another down, major damage to several oaks. Neighbor lost two giant oaks, one of which crashed onto a 200year old out-building, the property's original home. Some of this was wind damage, most was from heavy wet snow aka Sierra Cement.
Indoor temp has ranged from mid-40s to mid-60s, which now feels downright toasty.
