the thought of either chocolate or milk added to a puer makes my palate and head spin

that's what i was thinking. it was fancy food show swag so i thought i'd at least try it. i'm not a milk in tea person so perhaps it's worse than i thought for me to even suggest it. i'm happy to send you a packet to try. it was not like any puerh i've even tried in the past.

the marketing description sounds even worse

for me, it's all about the bread and the "steak" grease. sadly, as the old bakeries go out of business or change the recipes for cost cutting, cheesesteaks have lost all their cheesesteakness. i would avoid the whiz and go with provolone.

Thanks. I might just have to replace the whole screen.

window glass places often replace screens inexpensively. i like the glass place on 5th ave near bergen. i think they are closed on mondays, though

If I could walk around outside in my pajamas, I would. As it is, I have an extensive collection of sweatpants which I wear often. They kinda look like pajamas.

For winter, I'm still looking for a coat that looks like I'm wearing an upright sleeping bag. With arms.

i had one of those coats in the 80's, i will dig it up or you

Just get the "Lands End" winter catalog. They have a lovely assortment of walking sleeping bags. Very Frances McDormand in Fargo.

Yeah, but splinky's is vintage. Cachet counts in Manhattan.

vintage and designer. it's a blass, my dear

I tried but couldn't find my favorite sketch, the one that ends with "well honey, I guess you and I have lousy taste in lamps."

Walking up 5th Ave, round the corner from our apt.-- I guess in the early 90s--Ellen Barkin and Gabriel Byrne crossed us at an intersection. A group of youths shouted "Ellen", nobody seemed to recognize Byrne. I was tempted to shout out for him but thought better of it.

your ellen barkin sighting reminds me of my ron perelman sighting. he nearly fell onto me as he tripped down the steps of his townhouse. i was saved from being crushed under him when his security shoved me out of the way in order to catch him. talk about a brush with fame
