Back on the old version of Mouthfuls I raved about the TimeStack Quadruple Timer and I wanted to point out that it's currently on sale. Having four timers is great. But what really raises this to a new level is that you can record for each timer what it's beeping for. For example, last week when I was baking hamenstaschen I set four timers - two for when I needed to turn around the sheet pans and the others for when baking was done. And when beeped, there was no confusion. My voice memo made it clear what my instruction was.

i can’t believe i lived in nyc for close to 30 years and not once did i ever set foot inside.

well, we’re making up for lost time. apparently zabar’s offers insulated bags for travelers like us.

we’re buying a lot of appetizing for brunch tomorrow. i wish we could include some pickles as well, but the no liquids requirement is a stumbling block due to tsa regulations.
