  1. Five Chinese Brothers and Surreal McCoys were my real favorites. Still friends to this day. Love them. I also got to see Laura Cantrell, Joan Osborne, Kate Jacobs. So many great shows there.
  2. I was a a Rodeo Bar regular back then, even though I was in high school. But I had to see the World Famous Blue Jays and Simon and the Bar Sinisters as much as possible I guess.
  3. Enjoying this season of Reacher. It's always a nice escape. And interested in the Neagley spin off. Also watching The Pitt.
  4. "The Santa Fe City Fire Department found no signs of a possible carbon monoxide leak or poisoning, the document said. If there was carbon monoxide at the scene, it could have vented out of the home through the open front door before responders arrived." "There were no obvious signs of death. Their deaths were "suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation" due to all of the "circumstances surrounding" the scene, according to the search warrant affidavit."
  5. "But Mr. Vongerichten and Mr. Benno are too exuberantly talented to leave it at that. And together, they’ve transformed a fine-dining punch list into an alchemically rich menu that goes to great lengths to seduce. Both crowd-pleasing and daring, it features food that amuses you, delights you, inspires you to explore corners of your appetite you didn’t know you had. Four Twenty Five is not a restaurant that forces you out of your comfort zone, but it doesn’t leave you stranded there, either, staring into your Chardonnay." It's a floor wax AND a dessert topping.
  6. I'm so sorry for your loss. May he live forever in the hearts of those fortunate enough to love him and may his memory be a blessing.
  7. Just saw this @Steve R. Please tell them hello for me. Amy and I think of them often.
  8. It was a pretty racy school! They also taught Joan Didion.
  9. Yeah. They were assigning his books in my high school. I don't think I read a whole one of them. Was not my jam. I read A Confederacy of Dunces around that time and loved it.
  10. I didn't suggest that it had to be anything for you. I never said anything about my personal feelings about it. But, I acknowledge you were right then and you are still right about how you felt.
  11. They did not age well at all.

  14. Honestlly...I douthat is true about Stephens. Harhar. Differently disgusting. There's no shortage of garbagebag people over there, Davie Brooks comes to mind. They love to garbage pick.
  15. She and brett....two human trashbags full of unworthy entitlement.

  19. I got to see the band perform the Last Waltz as a kid at Radio City....and met Levon. I fell asleep during the concert. As I reflect, I believe that's the root of my perpetual self-disappointment.
  20. The last waltz should last forever
  21. That was my spot for many mental health getaways when I was working at RUB and after I realized that living on 4 Chelsea Papaya dogs a day was not a sustainable plan.
