Five Chinese Brothers and Surreal McCoys were my real favorites. Still friends to this day. Love them. I also got to see Laura Cantrell, Joan Osborne, Kate Jacobs. So many great shows there.

Yeah. They were assigning his books in my high school. I don't think I read a whole one of them. Was not my jam. I read A Confederacy of Dunces around that time and loved it.

I didn't suggest that it had to be anything for you. I never said anything about my personal feelings about it. But, I acknowledge you were right then and you are still right about how you felt.

I got to see the band perform the Last Waltz as a kid at Radio City....and met Levon. I fell asleep during the concert. As I reflect, I believe that's the root of my perpetual self-disappointment.
