  1. It certainly was when I dined there under Chef Kerry. One of the most memorable experiences of my life.
  2. I wonder what this place will be next.
  3. Lambs... touching lambs... bleating out... touching sheep..... touching ewe......
  4. No parking in Ridgewood is the big problem. Maybe they can do something with the Goodfella's Diner finally in Maspeth.

Nice to see Rodrigo getting some attention.
  6. I do think that performing alongside the artists that inspired them was a good move for the rock bands that were appropriating the blues and agree it did a lot to reignite (or even create) careers for a lot of those artists that had never made much money before. Fwiw.
  7. I've never heard a single positive field report except in the media. Have you had it?
  8. Although, the Stones going to Muscle Shoals was good for them (I guess).
  9. Already happening. But I know it is only going to get worse.
  10. I like Merle. Silver Wings is running through my head right now.
  11. Arthur Doyle, "Alabama Feeling" "The way Doyle and Stephens move from splayed torrents of rapid-fire notes to long, drawn-out, revenant moans, gasping for air while tones intermingle and cross-cut in the air, makes for some of the most thrilling free playing of its time." - John Dale
  12. Ooof. The singing like a cat with it's tail caught in a screendoor and the junior high poetry lyrics are just awful-- the worst part of the band for me. I think they made no secret of being white. Especially in concert when people saw them. I'm glad they didn't pretend like so many others. The oft-praised soulless others.....
  13. Totally. Led Zeppelin is generally unlistenable. They had horrible songs and unlistenable singing. Great musicians.
  14. Good Times Bad Times is worth the price of admission for me. Some of my favorite Page playing ever. That little Supro amp maxed out with a Tele sounding so good.
  15. I'm so sorry. Here in my 50s, I didn't expect my father to be in the hospital in an isolation ward while my sister and mother-in-law both undergo cancer treatments, but here I am. Impossible not to think about the future while being shellshocked by the present. Good luck.
  16. Post Malone redefining Country Music for the face tattoo generation. This should be fun.
  17. That's one of my favorite parts!
  18. Papaya King still the most exciting recent opening I have heard about. Despite Red Sauce Studio.
  19. It almost seems like the inherent problems with the idea of a "powerful food critic" are the problem, not the stars or the words. Although, often the stars and the words seem to be out of alignment. Of course the NY Times Food critics are gatekeepers. Pretending they are uncomfortable in that role is a bit much to swallow.
