RIP Sneak. I’ve truly missed his posts over the last several months. He turned me on and educated me about lots of food, wine and music over the years. He will be missed.

NYC right now is crazy. I missed my train at GCT and went to bar at Grand Brasserie at 9:15 and place is packed. In a train station.

Good minds….. Rack of lamb and roasted potatoes for us too but had roasted delicata instead of the broccoli. The lamb came from Wegmans and everyone was happy. Very tender with lots of flavor. Each rack was $17 and easily fed 2.

I'm bringing a few edibles to my MIL's. Feel free to steal my idea.

I'd be seeing David Torkanowsky at 2PM at the Jazz Museum on Decatur and Jon Cleary at Chickie Wah Wah at 8PM. 🙂

We're booked next year from 4/23-30 for Jazzfest and will extend to 2nd weekend again if Hinds is part of the lineup. 🤪

Those are the ones from Alabama? I believe I had them at Seaworthy.

What did you drink? While the food is really good they are winning all the awards for their cocktails.

@small h Lots of good music around Thanksgiving Weekend. PJ Morton, Soul Rebels, Jason Marsalis and at the top of the list, Maggie Koerner at Tipitinas (where it is virtually impossible not to have a great time.) . And what should be a really cool show at Music Box Village which is one of the more unique music venues anywhere.

Just in time for election day, Some Vague Reassurance Everythings Going to Be Alright from Kent Falls Brewing. Super fresh IPA, (Canned just a few days ago) with Connecticut grown grain and Citra and El Dorado hops. I can drink this beer all day at 6%. Very well balanced and simply delicious. Beautiful in the glass too.
