There was no verdict to trust or to question. There was a settlement of a civil case and a dismissal of the criminal case. The woman cashed out (civil) and when she allegedly would not testify the DA did not want to go forward (criminal) after getting maximum exposure out of acting like he did. I forgot it was dismissed. But I am sympathetic towards a woman choosing not to testify at a rape trial. Is it really fair to read anything into the settlement of the civil case? I mean just as you implied she "Cashed out" I could also imply he "paid her off" BTW I'm not saying that either of
