Diancecht Posted August 16, 2022 Share Posted August 16, 2022 we were supposed to get together with some of my relatives on sunday but someone tested positive for covid. 😬 and since hubby and i want to remain negative, that get-together didn’t happen. so we invited some friends over for bagels and lox. hubby whipped up an egg and mushroom casserole and i made a damson plum and nectarine galette. StephanieL Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 I have to thank Ruth Reichl's newsletter for pointing me to this company: Colorado Mountain Muesli (farmdirectseed.com). Because the muesli contains raw grains, it has to be cooked, so I made up a bowl porridge-style this AM. Next time, I think I'll add a little maple syrup and butter. They sent me bagels, bialys, 2 kinds of smoked salmon, sable, whitefish/baked salmon salad, and pickled herring with onions.
