I concur that the slide show is incredibly effective and makes me want to visit - best of luck - do I say "Break a platter"?

"Break an egg" is the appropriate phrase in this situation, I think.

In that case, break an egg. Good luck and it looks like your having fun. That peach tart looked most appetizing.

Hey Everyone, just had a chance to check in... a big Thank You from K and I for all your kind wishes!

It has been a crazy rollercoaster ride and I still feel like I'm in the front seat going up up up waiting to drop and hurtle around steep corners with both hands in the air.

Publicity at times is an overwhelming thing. As we well know, people say whatever they want - fortunately the response has been more than favorable.

Special thanks and shout out to Joan for her prompt bean deliveries and suggestions - hey Bean Boy Downtown LOVES your stuff!

Miss having time playing online, but we are having a lot of fun playing restaurant.

All of you have a standing invitation to visit anytime.

And Simon - you must come to eat and we shall have cocktails as well - I know a few places so pm me.

We can start apologising for our offences now, mea culpa, mea culpa.

Love to all,

Monkey

There was a great front page article with tons of inside photos in the LA Times this morning. And this online audio slideshow.

Woo Hoo!!! Congrats to you, Kristen and everyone else who worked so hard to make this happen!! I can't wait to come see it--I'm planning on November and will rally the troops!

Remember when she gave us a tour before the remodeling began?

WOW, Monica, congratulations.

Weren't you feeling the absinthe at that point, Scream? I think I was.

I vaguely remember you whispering, "can I call you Imelda? Huh, huh?" while trying to comb my hair into a bouffant.

You didn't resist, Imelda. It was very becoming, don't you think?

LOL! I definitely remember seeing the new place (and the cool art gallery), despite the fog of the Green Fairy!!

The clowns on the walls seemed more menacing at the time. Perhaps that is the explanation.

Yesterday, Roscoe's House of Chicken N Waffles, somethng called a "cupcake" at a place called Sprinkles (isn't that porno talk for peeing on someone?) and Korean BBQ

Today, we head downtown to take on a certain diner in the company of someone who is apparently a "Scream"
