Lippy
Breckenridge has a 250-structure historic district and this restaurant is located in one of them, a restored and renovated 100-year building that was probably built as a hotel. R. had his favorite dish of the trip here, a braised lamb shank, "southwestern style" served with a very cheesy polenta. I had a Kurabata pork chop, served with a too-tight, but tasty, risotto. We shared a strawberry shortcake, which happily was the biscuit variety, but was too dry, since it consisted only of sliced strawberries, whipped cream and the biscuit, but no strawberry sauce. The Edwardian decor was a lot of fun.
