The surrealism of everyday life

Now that I think about it, I may have driven over a piece of metal on the on-ramp to the freeway.  That particular on-ramp is short and narrow, and there would have been no real way to avoid it.  It wasn't an old tire, certainly not original to the car (which is about 6 1/2 years old).

Or as a visiting French friend said when we were at an In-and-Out, per his request, "I am a Fraunchman.  I eat my bourger with knife and fork."

I've definitely eaten unwieldy sandwiches with a knife and fork. I was served a tuna burger a couple of weeks ago that was taller than it was wide. But that looks like something you could pick up. If you don't mind greasing up your hands. Which I do.
