The surrealism of everyday life

They mentioned the Guns n Roses connection in the Eater blurb. It's still a bad name.

The Wells Report.

140 page report. 70 page expert analysis.

Considering how much of a stink Robert Kraft made, I think it needed to be that detailed.

Not being in my apartment anymore. All of our stuff is on a big rig that I hope will get to our California address at some point.

I meant to post an article about the Korean food strip close to where you're moving to recently. I'll see if I can find it.

(not sure if you like Korean but that strip is the best in norcal)

I love Korean (well, I love all food), so any tips you have would be much appreciated. Also, as I think I posted earlier, our temporary apartment is literally within walking distance of Mitsuwa, so we can get good Japanese prepared food as well as nice fish and vegetables to cook with.

Ya, that post was how I knew the general area you're moving to. I found it:

Ask Rick Sung where to find the best Korean food in the Bay Area, and there are no ifs, ands or buts.

Without a doubt, it is the stretch of El Camino Real in Santa Clara that extends just into Sunnyvale, which is known unofficially as Koreatown.

"yesterday" started my 36 hour trip back home from China.. I flew from Nanjing to Beijing.. Had a 5 hour layover.. Then, while in china, a customer asked me to meet him in Chicago.. So, i booked a flight from Newark to Chicago.. But, while heading to Newark, the plane was redirected to Philly.. We stayed on the runway for three hours.. my flight to Chicago was delayed 5 hours and i landed in Chicago last night at 2 am.. Had the taxi take me to McDonalds "Merica, fuck yeh" and inhaled a big mac around 3:30.. Hit the hotel, woke up to the neighbors having sex at 11 this morning, seeing the customer in an hour, flying back to Newark tonight. Have an appointment tomorrow and a busy work week coming up..

The first beer brewed especially for dogs. (I could have posted this in Signs of the Apocalypse.)

Bowser Beer helps dogs beat the heat

Now man's best friend can be your best drinking buddy.

Bowser Beer, America's first beer for dogs, is cooling collies and hydrating hounds in Minnesota.

You don't even have to check IDs -- what's the legal drinking age in dog years? -- because it has no alcohol.

"It's for the celebration of the dog days of summer," said Derrick Kunes, interim marketing manager for Axel's Bonfire restaurants.

Kunes gave away samples of the doggie-brew last summer at the Paws on Grand festival in front of the Grand Avenue restaurant and plans to do it again at the festival Aug. 5.

"People go crazy over this," he said. "They are so intrigued."

The Seattle-based company that makes Bowser Beer was started by Jenny Brown.

In 2008, she was making pretzels for dogs -- coated with peanut butter and molasses -- at local fairs. After a while, the idea hit her. "It just seemed like the dogs would want a beer with their pretzels," said Brown.
