Barrister's Bookcase

I have never heard that term before. Does barrister mean the same in the US as in the UK (i.e., trial lawyer)? Nice bookcase, anyway.

Yes. Originally the style was for lawyers. It was purchased in sections, and when one section was fiiled, the lawyer would buy another, which would stack on top. Mine is all one piece, however.
