Senwaya:  Alkisah (I think I have to thank Wilf for this?)

Schubert:  Schwanengesang//Brahms:  Vier Ernste Gesänge (Quasthoff/Zeyen) (this is actually kind of spectacular)

Roussel:  Évocations/Le Festin de l'Araignée (Stutzmann/Gedda/van Dam//Plasson/Orchestre National de Capitole de Toulouse//Martinon/Orchestre National d'O.R.T.F.) (hard to remember when there was a recording industry that did things like put together unimaginable dream casts for recordings of vocal pieces that are almost never even performed in concert)

Cantata Profana:  Flos Forum (vocal, instrumental, and vocal/instrumental pieces by Machaut/Anon./Arvo Pärt/Vivier/DuFay/Foss/Thomas Adès/Emil Wojtacki/Ligeti) (an unbelievably good album)

Machaut:  Messe de Notre Dame (Schmelzer/Graindelvoix) (I remember when the Marcel Pérès/Ensemble Organum version was considered, in its melismatic glissy instability to be beyond the pale -- but this makes that rendition sound almost mainstream)
