Wait I missed this. MUST. RESIST. MUST. RESIST.
Wilfrid
Fugees, The Score. On my big speakers. Not a bad album, right? And as I go to bed, Hinds, on my small Bluetooth, because it is like Ana is sharing my pillow.
Wilfrid
Hinds, I Don’t Run
Sneakeater
I'm getting more pleasure out of old (El Saturn and ESP-Disc era) Sun Ra albums than anything else these days. Again, just what I like.
Sneakeater
Well, let's not forget the new Caroline Shaw/Attacca Quartet album.

Wilfrid
So this is what happened. I didn’t know what to listen to on my fairly big speakers, so I actually closed my eyes and pulled a CD off the shelf. City High. Remember them?
Sneakeater
Boy haven't thought about them this century.
Wilfrid
From my days when I didn’t really get hip hop but liked what I thought was the melodic end, The Fugees of course and Arrested Development. I corrected my cultural myopia thank god (and with some help from a tutorial from @mongo_jonesyears ago, grateful for that).

Wilfrid
Yes, the most recent, The Prettiest Curse, but everything is good. Latest cute thing they did is post their last set list on Instagram translated into emojis. “Spanish Bombs” was obvious, as was their usual opener “Riding Solo,” but I had to work harder at some of the others. Best pop group in the world (unless ABBA is still in the running) and so adorable too. ❤️
Sneakeater
No no not The Prettiest Curse. I mean, I've made my peace with it. I see how it's really good. But surely the debut.
Sneakeater
I continue to listen to Evergreen obsessively. I swear it's not to vex @Wilfrid.
Wilfrid
I will listen to the first album again right now. But “Good Bad Times” is surely their knockout punch.
