hollywood10 Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Dodger fans were all primed to do The Freddie but unfortunately the Diamondbacks creamed them. hollywood10 Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 The favored Dodgers are now down 0-2 to the Diamondbacks in a best of 5 series. Quote
MitchW Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 And the 101-win Orioles are doneski, as baseball seeks to suck every last penny out of its fans by expanding the post season even further. Quote
hollywood10 Posted October 12, 2023 Author Posted October 12, 2023 Dodgers: no pitching, no hitting, no wins. And allowing 4 solo homers in one inning! Da Bums. Quote
MitchW Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Hey - they had a lot of wins; they just come in the regular season, and since so many teams make the playoffs, they don't mean that much. Quote
Steve R. Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Arizona vs Texas. What's the realistic over/under on how many games I watch? Quote
Wilfrid Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Hearing that from everyone. Big shrug. So much for the fix being in. 1 Quote
MitchW Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 I have to say that watching a few playoff games here and there, I realized why these teams are still playing. I mean, I have seen some amazing defense played, along with some pretty significant clutch hitting. Quote
bloviatrix Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Your comment about defense is true. Because I've been attending the boy's baseball practice I've spend a lot of time watching them work on defensive drills and there have been plays made during the playoffs that crystallize what the coaches are instructing. 1 Quote
