That whatever it is uses "banned" and "excluded" interchangeably, and they don't mean the same thing. Of course, since the author's credentials are "free spirit," I guess we have to trust them.

In today's journalism, it's (fill in the blank) "The writer clearly doesn't know the difference between ____ and ____."
