I introduced the boy to Calvin and Hobbes earlier this year - we kept two of the compendiums. He absolutely adores it. And it's so much fun to revisit as a grown up. It's really smart.

My dad introduced me to Pogo - same outcome! He also tried with Archy and Mehitabel, but that didn't take.
