JulieSteal
On every trip I make, I always make sure to try out a new pizza place. I was in Boston a few weeks ago and tried out two places, Upper Crust Pizzeria and Old World Pizza. I loved both, but they were kind of pricey. Can anyone recommend other great pizza places in Boston?

galleygirl
The original Regina's in the North End. And any of the Mangia's....
9lives
I like Picco in the "gourmet" category and Regina's..like GG said..original NE only. Another place I really like is Gran Gusto..a little tough to get to without a car but great pizza..http://www.flickr.com/photos/61246842@N00/sets/72157605061314317/ Sicilian slices with great arancini and panzarotti; on Hanover..Galleria Umberto. No atmosphere, wine in dixie cups and be prepared to wait.

beachfan
Upper Crust is mediocre. Ignore any of the popular "best of" lists, they are very yuppified. Regina is the place. A very nice place for slices on Charles St. is Nino's.
9lives
I think I need a trip to Regina's this weekend.. I'm not a fan of Upper Crust but someone must like them. They seem to open a new store every week or so and they are building beautiful offices near me on the waterfront. Another place that should be on your list is Santarpio's in E Boston; near Logan. It's not as consistent as it once was but still possible to get a great pie, but they also do good grilled sausage and lamb. Very old school, pics of Rocky Marciano, Marvin hagler,Mike Eruzione (1980 US Olympic Gold/ Hockey who grew up nearby) on the wall and Sinatra on the jukebox. I go occassionally but prefer Regina'sfor my regular "best of" in the traditional style.
