i'd hate to get hit in the head with one falling off the tree. apprently several farmers have had problems with cattle chocking on them.

When I was a kid in Texas, we used to throw these at each other. When they hit the asphalt and split slightly, they'd exude a milky white substance. We used to call them "horse apples."

That's the one. We also used to roll them in front of cars and throw them at trains.
