Current Octoberfest menu has some nice stuff on it, including fried pig's feet (here called sulze), sauerbraten and a smoked pork shoulder.

This is the smoked pork shoulder, over sauerkraut, and topfenknödel.  We shared this dish, and I still brought some home.

The greens were broccoli rabe the other night.

Delicious krainerwurst.  I replaced the dumplings that come along with the krainer with some greens to be extra healthy!

That’s a new wurst for me. Also called a Carniolan sausage, Wiki says it’s similar to kielbasa. Would you agree?

Looks as if the Carniolan is basically pork, whereas the Krainer is pork and beef. But both smoked, and both pretty coarse.

There's another sausage called Käsekrainer, which is pork and contains pieces of cheese.  It probably all boils down to semantics, and maybe the term kielbasa is more general?

Afaik Kielbasa=wurst=sausage so yes generic term.
