Eater - still wrong, most of the time...

The star of Beto’s menu is the carnitas ($5), slow-cooked pork in house-made flour tortillas made with masa

Aren't corn tortillas made with masa, and flour tortillas made with, ummmmmm, flour?

Not much editing going on there.

The logo features the booty of a pig in a purple outline — in honor of the 7 train, since they lived in Queens for a bit.

Is Nadia really understanding what he's being told?

"[Co-owner of new cocktail bar Crybaby] says he’s a longtime Chartreuse collector and amassed rare bottles from France and the states. He also had the global director and head distiller for Chartreuse from France at the bar. “They were deeply excited about what we’re doing and wanted to make sure we’re stocked and have consistent stock,” he says."

There's no such thing as a bottle of Chartreuse "from the states," rare or otherwise. The guy might have meant he was finding rare bottles in the states, maybe at auctions?

Anyway, good to know the Chartreuse people want to make sure US bars have plenty of the stuff.

A new peppy two-floor Italian restaurant is coming to Williamsburg: Balera is opening at 442 Graham Avenue, near Frost Street, on Thursday, March 26. The menu draws from the Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna regions, with dishes like thin-crust Roman-style pizza, pastas, and a salad chock-full of octopus, shrimp, and potatoes. Per the name, which is Italian for “dance halls,” it’ll have live music and/or DJs on Friday and Saturday evenings.

If the menu draws from Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna, why is thin-crust Roman-style pizza the first thing listed?  And maybe I'm not aware, but are octopus and shrimp usually associated with Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont?

You were heard - the PR food is Iberian and Brazilian!

Boedga Night’s food will follow suit, with Iberian and Brazilian dishes in the works like salt cod fritters and house-made sausages. Then there are larger steaks and whole fish paired with broccoli rice, grilled vegetables, and Portuguese-style potatoes.

Dine on duck confit, côte de boeuf, and a $175 dover dole for two, while surrounded by artwork by the likes of Joan Mitchell and Andy Warhol.

Evidently, they can't even be bothered with an AI spell check.

There's almost nothing to actually read. They update their lists and post a couple of news items. All the reviewers are gone, of course.
