I need to buy an assortment of cookies for a large family reunion. Which bakery(ies) in Seattle do you recommend for delicious cookies?

I think Dahlia Bakery has really good cookies. They have maybe 6 - 10 different kinds. Fresh Flours on Phinney and in Ballard also has good cookies but they only have 2 or 3 kinds.

Thanks Lauren! I will try those places. Today I tried an assortment of Bakery Nouveau's cookies (I had high hopes) and they were good but not great, and a couple fell apart in my hands, they are so big. I prefer some smaller ones if possible.

Not a bakery (and to be honest, my former employer) but On Safari Foods does amazing cookie platter (the pastry chef used to work at Dahlia, in fact), they make a ton of different varieties (you can specify if there are certain ones you do or don't want) and you can say if you want a certain amount of different kinds or whatever. Really good stuff.

Thanks da goose, that sounds perfect and exactly what I'm looking for, a platter of different cookies. I'll give them a call!

I have to pitch my friend Stephanie at Sugar. I love those Economic Crunch cookies and her homemade marshmallows. Shortbread too. I think she does smaller cookies on special order.
