bloviatrix
Bonner's post reminds me that my brother is coming into to town next month and we're doing a cousins dinner which means it will fall on me to pick a place. Finding a reasonably priced kosher place is a challenge if you want to stay in Manhattan. And my Manhattan cousins are unlikely to want to travel to Brooklyn.
Steve R.
Cant vouch for the food, but Colbeh opened a Kosher Persian place in midtown. https://www.colbeh.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/manhattan_dinner_menu_v1.pdf I assume that you know about Le Marais: https://www.lemarais.net And, of course the various supposed Kosher Indian places around Lex/26th St. (vegetarian, but are the kitchens supervised? I dunno) & one that seems to have a buzz called Ahimsa. https://ahimsanyc.com/new-york-murray-hill-ahimsa-food-menu Have fun. Brooklyn's easy.

I have a couple of cousins who won't (and a spouse who will accept it reluctantly if there are no kosher options such as when we were in Springfield, MA last month). small h
Ah, too bad. You lose a lot of options that way. But I come from a very meat-centric (and mostly kosher) family, so I get it.
Neocon maudit
I love Frenchette, but I should probably go somewhere else this week. Where ought I to dine on Thursday [Downtown of course]?

AaronS
did they change chefs?

AaronS
thanks, I had no idea. I walk past it regularly on my way out of the theater and had been thinking about eating at the bar for the view but maybe I’ll have a proper meal.

Thought you weren't keen on Manhatta . . . but I suppose that was 1.0. What's changed? So Manhatta is from Danny Meyer and in a different skyscraper altogether from Crown Shy? Sneakeater
Read @rozrapp's post above. Yes re Danny Meyer and skyscraper (a VERY different skyscraper).
voyager
Bubbling to the top, how is Le Coucou today? Haven't heard you guys mention it in ages.
