Wilfrid
My post is coming. On the 3rd anniversary.
voyager
2019 was the last time we were in France. Since then, many of our favorite restaurants have closed, favorite waiters retired, chefs moved on, favorite hotel closed for renovation, transit system overhauled and routes changed and on and on. In the meantime, close friends have returned to Paris several times, regaling us with news of new dining rooms. It's like the end of our world and the beginning of another. Very disorienting. I went to Morscher's last weekend and I was thinking the first time I went there I had a coffee in a quirky little cafe somewhere nearby. Turns out that was four years ago. Wilfrid
My memory suggests Eastern European customers and a Forest Ave location. Maybe long gone.

Wilfrid
I don't think so.
Wilfrid
Looking back over past Morscher's posts reminded me of this: Quote Went to visit a friend in Ridgewood yesterday. Hadn’t been over to her place before. She neglected to mention she lives five minutes from Morscher’s Pork Store. Perhaps because she is vegan? I bet that was the last time I was there: March, 2021. Wilfrid
Having checked G&T I was looking for where to go next. The Inf. has a 15 hottest list (5 of which are Italian which I rarely crave). I am interested in Tatiana and Fradei but they are very hard tables. Anything else worth considering? https://www.theinfatuation.com/new-york/guides/exciting-new-nyc-dinner-restaurant-right-now
Sneakeater
Didn't Fradei abandon its format anyway?
Sneakeater
Masalawala. But you can't get in there, either.
rozrapp
@Wilfrid It’s not on that Infatuation list, but how about Koloman?
Sneakeater
He's been!
rozrapp
You’re right. A quick search showed he was there in December. Obviously, I forgot.
