g.johnson
The hotel is located in the heart of the historic NoMad neighborhood (North of Madison Square Park). Bordered by the Flatiron District and Gramercy Park to the South, Chelsea to the West, and Midtown/Times Square to the North. Â The name NoMad, which has been in use since 1999... Â New one on me. Sneakeater
You can't get much more historic than "since 1999".

Get the chicken for two! Chef Humm served it at EMP when they were doing the 2 for $28 lunch. Michael and I had it several times at that time and are thrilled he's brought it back at NoMad. Here's what it looked like at EMP. Looking forward to seeing your photos.
jmoranmoya
What about the tasting menu??
rozrapp
What about the tasting menu?? Â I don't know if the tasting menu you would get would be the same as ours. You might ask your server what's on it and then decide if you want to go that route. Of course, it could be "at the whim of the kitchen," in which case, it would be a surprise as it was for us. Wilfrid
You can't get much more historic than "since 1999". Maybe that's the basis on which they decided to go with a name which seemed to me obviously open to challenge by Nomad, the EV restaurant which has been around for years.
