However, having gone to his John Mayall Band/Bluesbreakers concerts in the late '60s, early '70s, I can say that they were hall worthy. I missed the Clapton period (which included McVie, Jack Bruce, Peter Green at times), but was there for Mick Taylor & Mark/Almond versions (among others).
