foodie52
I remember him best from the radio show in the UK in the 60's. "That was the week that was". It was just one of the wonderfully satirical radio programs that were offered on the weekend. I LIVED through my transistor radio in the mid 60's. We had very little entertainment at boarding school... I just realized that he was only 13 years older than me, which put him in his late 20's when he hosted that program. Sneakeater
He was also featured in the U.S. TV version of TW3 (which was how he first became known over here).

Wilfrid
No surprise that Frost is best remembered internationally for his interviews with political figures, and events like the Yippies' takeover of his show (in this clip, among the "freaks", you can see Mick Farren, who died a couple of weeks ago): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmNavln3NAU But yes, for children of the '60s he'll always be the not-funniest but most entrepreneurially minded of that group of satirists which gathered around Peter Cook, at the Establishment Club and Private Eye. Frost's gift was to put it on television.
