Sneakeater
Emma Orlow and Eater's copy editors (if they have any) appear to think that Howard Street intersects Lexington Avenue. (Could they mean Lafayette?)
small h
What are the odds that Eater is now being written by ChatGPT? Also, The Smile was a bad restaurant with mediocre food and terrible service, and I'm glad it's gone.

Sneakeater
Wait a minute. I'm confused. How is the Landmarc space on the 3rd floor of the TWC two stories above per se on the 4th floor?

Let's set aside, for a moment, your confusion (and hopefully you'll straighten it all out when you visit the restaurant, and then let us all know!). But I always thought that the use of certain colors (certainly, certain colors in abundance) was limited to a particular type of eatery; that is, the segment known in the industry as fast food. I'm wrong (which is not all that unusual).
Tubbs
I had just come here to ask the same question!

Wilfrid
Not the best day for food writing. https://ny.eater.com/2023/2/23/23597144/new-york-pizza-ranch-dressing-dipping
Wilfrid
Quote I was sitting in the dining room of Velma, an Italian restaurant that opened in Ridgewood last month, when I spotted ranch on the menu as a dipping sauce option for its chicken nuggets. The dressing was only a dollar, and on a whim, I ordered one with our vodka pie. Fascinating. Do go on.
Wilfrid
Digging deeper into Luke's February contributions: Chicago-style dogs... Quote The full formula calls for a poppy seed bun and a Vienna Beef dog, followed by yellow mustard, neon green pickle relish, diced raw onions, a pickle spear, sport peppers, tomato wedges, and a sprinkle of celery salt. In Chicago, those ingredients can be found at most corner stores. In New York, they’ve eluded chefs for years. I guarantee all those ingredients are readily available in New York. Okay, maybe not the onions...
Orik
I thought Bloomberg banned neon green food.
Sneakeater
Actually Vienna beef hot dogs aren’t readily available in New York.  Nor are the rolls they use.
Sneakeater
I'm not sure it's very easy to get authentic sport peppers here, either.
Wilfrid
Amazon will deliver a pack of 80 Vienna beefs to me in a few days, and any of those garnishes. Making sure not to press the Buy Now button.
Wilfrid
Oh lord, this is Eater, 2021. Dog Day Afternoon in Park Slope. CHICAGO DOG Consisting of a poppy seeded potato bun, diced onions, yellow mustard, neon relish, a crunchy pickle spear, fresh slices of Jersey tomato, perfectly popping spicy sport peppers, a graceful dusting of celery salt, and of course—the cornerstone of any Chicago dog and the finest weenie on the market—a natural casing Vienna beef snap dog. Wipe that drool off your chin, buddy!! https://ny.eater.com/2021/9/7/22648359/dog-day-afternoon-brooklyn-chicago-style-dog-preview
