Drink a toast to Frank's. Just the signage used to make me cheerful.




Great jukebox, great drinkers, great pictures on the walls.  Are there places like this left in Harlem now, with the passing of the Recovery Room and Jewel's, let alone Brooklyn? I guess there's Tiptop on Franklin Avenue.  


It didn't quite make 50 years.

Yesterday even the waterfront ale House was allowing people to have a drink at the bar while "waiting for pickup"

Well, there's a couple bombshells at the end, one of which is not good at all.

Anyway, I do miss bars, but not as much as I would have thought, before.
