croseattle
Putting this here as a prompt for Lauren (and anyone else) to review the new place. The Times raved, I'd like to read mouthfuls input. http://www.seattletimes.com/news/virtuosic-vietnamese-fare-at-stateside-on-capitol-hill/
SeaGal
This is definitely on my "must try" list. If anyone has interest in going, let me know!
Suzanne F
Will it count if Steve and Ginny try it when they're there?

da goose
We hit it up last week. It was good...not great. Will be a nice addition for high-end Asian with good cocktails if we're in the area, but I wasn't blown away by the food. Hits included the duck crispy rolls and the cha ca la vong (fish and noodles). Otherwise lots of pretty average stuff. Very loud. Service was middling. Not super cheap--the starters were small enough that we had to order two of some of them for 4 people.
Adrian
Oh, there's a thread for this. Not terribly impressed - bun ca was an appropriate approximation of how it's done in Hanoi, but cha ca ca vong missed the mark, cumin pork ribs were a bit odd (though not a brutally sweet dish as I had feared for no great reason) and a bunch of other stuff that didn't stand out. Smart wine list with reasonably priced low end donhoff and boxler (though I come from the land of brutal wine prices, so 2x is totally ok). Probably a harsher appraisal than the place warrant. Conceptually, actually a decent restaurant, even if the execution/dish design was off.
