rancho_gordo
From the Rebecca thread: I don't recall her posting a recipe here but she mentioned it. Earlier she had started a whole thread on "New Century Appetizers" that yielded some astonishing gelatinous things; it was classic Rebecca! I do hope you are able to find the mold; this is the kind of thing that helps families endure. What a link. This makes me so nostalgic for a different era. I remember the feelings and the excitement of reading and posting here! All sites ebb and flow but this was really a sweet time.

It's one long shaggy dog story. Nothing happens for 2 hours. Get it? Get it? Ho ho ho. At one point 4 actors were laying on the stage for 5 minutes talking about how they couldn't or wouldn't get up. Riveting stuff.

There are 2 or 3 year periods when you wonder why anyone is watching at all. These are marked by skits that start off badly and clearly are going nowhere. Then they continue pointlessly for another 10 minutes. That's Godot, only it goes on for 2 fucking hours.
