small h
Because there is no "reasons to be relieved thread," I realized a dream I've had for at least a month now, and signed up to be in the chorus of "Here Lies Joy," a (very short) opera that was performed in Times Square as part of the Prototype Festival. I don't sing all that badly, but I also don't read music well, nor have I ever tried to learn something that wasn't just a regular song. unless you count La Donna e Mobile, which kind of is just a regular song. It was fun, and also very scary, but I managed to not embarrass myself. Or anyway, no one tried to expel me. Maybe they were just being nice. Here it is, if you want to not see or hear me, but rather to see and hear the soloists, who are the ones you should be seeing and hearing. https://fb.watch/hX1zeqc4uI/

We replaced a 25-year old KitchenAid with a Bosch when we renovated...we LOVE it. (I managed to sell the old one for $100 🤣.)

It lives in the attic now. So much more usable space in the lower rack without it. Also – I only just learned that there's a feature that lowers the middle/glassware rack by about 2 inches when you need it. And FYI, the 60-minute 'speed wash' cleans just as well as the 2-hour 'normal' cycle.

Sneakeater
I just finished this task I'd been putting off for weeks. It had been hanging over me. I thought it would be hard. It turned out to be easy. Don't you love it when that happens?
small h
I do! I absolutely capable of expending more energy in procrastinating than in just getting the damn thing done.

And the ability to adjust the middle rack for glassware is a great feature - we had it on our Miele.
