Couldn't find a comparable thread, so here goes.   I'm resurrecting an old workhorse from the 60s to serve in the living room before dinner: (italian tuna/pickled veggie/tomato) antipasto. C

It's hard for me to see a red with a raw tomato. In the summer, maybe a rosé.

Okay, authorities, upcoming small dinner party.   Dining room food under control, but need help with pre-dinner/living room bites.   Have no interest in preparing a.separate course, then had the thought that truffled popcorn might be easy and amusing.    It's pretty addictive.   But what wine?

House "champagne" will be on offer, but had the wild hair thought that vin jaune might work as an off-the-wall alternative.   Thoughts?
