prasantrin
At my current workplace, if we need to do work at home or outside our office, we're supposed to use some kind of special encrypted usb key, and if we email files of a certain type (to our personal email addresses or to others within government), we have to encrypt the files. I have no idea how many people actually follow those guidelines. I can tell you the paramilitary organization I worked for had some of the worst electronic security I'd never experienced in government. Even my current organization takes security more seriously, and most of our documents are available to the public.
taion
There is in fact an AWS Secret Region now for secret stuff, but it's not related to the Tor thing. Even to the extent that normal people use Tor, they seldom use it to visit .onion sites.
Nathan
Ah, I found out what this is about. The AWS C2s is indeed an air gapped classified cloud storage. In other words, it’s not part of the internet at all. Or the deep or dark web. Cause it’s not on the web.
taion
Air-gapped web is pretty deep and dark, if you ask me.
Rail Paul
Thanks. Amazon has been hiring people with all kinds of clearances. They're definitely in growth mode
Orik
Air-gapped web is pretty deep and dark, if you ask me. Tested by spiders over millions of years. https://www.wired.com/story/macos-high-sierra-hack-root/
