What are some of the other ways?

And I've had this for nearly 63.

Serious question:   Isn't eating a whole orange better for you than drinking a glass of orange juice?  You get some fiber that way (as opposed to all sugar), which I would think is somewhat importan

i weighed myself last night which i haven’t done since sometime in the mid-00s when i was living in nyc. with clothes on, i clocked in at slightly over 205. goal is 180. hubby thinks i was less than 180 when we met, and that is certainly possible but i doubt it.

I finished six months of strict Keto in November 2019, two and a half years ago. Currently I weigh maybe six or seven pounds less than I did then. So much for putting all the weight back on.

Best thing for my health I ever did.

Mission tacos now have a keto product, the good thing being that Mission is easily found in supermarkets rather than needing to be ordered. I like Mr Tortilla, but that is mail order.

Heartbroken that my mail order keto donut supplier, PBH Foods, has pivoted from direct sales to making products for other brands.

I realize this will not impress normal weight people, but I went as low carb as possible for me starting in early January and am now maintaining a weight about 5 lbs below where I started. I'd like to get lower, but it's good to know I can get here without too much pain.

Covid lockdown started, and I've prepared some 2,000 meals since then (counting breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

I'm about 6 or 7 lbs. less than I was at the start of lockdown, and my cholesterol has come down to the normal range (along with triglycerides).

All by basically avoiding restaurant food for many, many moons.

You are probably wealthier as well as healthier.

Yes, totally.  Even buying good quality, sometimes special ingredients, it's no comparison with our previous spending at our previous levels of dining out. I do worry, however, with the concurrent rise of restaurant prices, if that will last.

I too have lost a shit ton of weight during covid. I had actually gained about 5 pounds during the first year, but lost a bunch of muscle and gained a bunch of fat, so my girth had definitely expanded.

But since last August, I've just 30+lbs. Just is due to a suspected recurrence of Graves disease, but man, I look good right now!

I don't think this is new, but just noticed Subway is offering sandwiches on low carb bread.

Meanwhile, as an experiment, I decided to slip back into ketosis for August (and maybe I'll do February too - slow months when I'm unlikely to be traveling on business).

I hadn't put any weight back on, but why not drop a few more pounds? The adjustments to my diet were minor. I started August 1 and was back in ketosis within a couple of days. No keto flu like the first time; my body is familiar with this. Lost 3 lbs already, which is fine. If I've dropped 5 or 6 by the end of the month I'll be happy.

Well let’s tell the truth, I didn’t drop 5 or 6 pounds. The initial weight loss was it. Not sure why, but it’s no big deal.

Back on the moderate carbs. Half a Foxface sandwich yesterday; half a Jamaica patty today; and yay, kettle chips.

I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to cut chips and other indulgences for a full month with no effort. I did try pork rinds again, first time in years (0 carbs), but my god is there a variation in quality between brands: pleasantly crisp to jaw breaking.

Maybe found the truth.    You've established your mean weight.   Your body is in balance.   So long as you continue with this acquired habit of moderation.    Eat everything.   As joe preaches, in moderation.

Well done.
