Wilfrid
Bouncing off the Anton’s thread, which actors have we actually seen, not in the street, but stuffing forkfuls of food into their greedy mouths? Off the top of my head: James Earl Jones, Chez Josephine Anne Hathaway, Grayz Hilary Swank, Craft Ashley Olsen, Ess-a-Bagel (okay, it might have been Mary-Kate) Jessica Lange, J.Sheekey, London Robert Wagner and Jill St John, Benoit, Paris Does anyone want to hear that last story again? I must have told it before.

joethefoodie
Ron really knew how to celebrate. Bette Midler - some restaurant I don't remember in Paris DeNiro, Keitel - Augustine Mary Louise-Parker - Pastis Michael Kelly - Cafe Katja more than once Meryl Streep - Eastwood More I can't remember. Back when I was in fancy catering, plenty of them - just not in restaurants, instead at events.
Tubbs
Louis CK (before the whole situation...) - Minetta, he was heading to the cellar after. Non actors - sat next to Ivan Orkin at Gari once.
small h
Ron really knew how to celebrate. And apparently, so do I! Back when I was in fancy catering, plenty of them - just not in restaurants, instead at events. Good lord, yes, back when I was serving my time in WeddingWorld. The famous people were generally a lot nicer than the regular old rich people.

Not a cigarette, either.

Wilfrid
Here's a story I don't think I've told. Young barrister in London, very smart but a bit innocent, at a drinks party for theatrical types. He's introduced to an older man. "Hello, I'm James." "Nice to meet you, I'm Al." "What do you do?" "I'm an actor." "Oh really? Stage or screen?""A bit of both." "Would I have seen you in anything?" "I don't know, maybe The Godfather." True.
Wilfrid
Not quite an actor, but Derek Jarman at Jimmy's in Soho (London). Tim Spall in the Nellie Dean (a pub, but they served free food on Sunday lunchtimes, so he was probably eating. I was).
