What could be better to drink while watching Shelton Whimsy recount his time chasing waiters and barbacks in Florence than a Pink Negroni?

Pour 2 oz. Gin and 1 oz. each of Lilet Blanc (I used Kina l'Aero d'Or), Campari, and lemon juice (I used Meyer), with 2 dashes Bittermans Burlesque Bitters (I used orange bitters but changed the garnish) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with tarragon (I used spruce tips) (which makes this cocktail weirdly prophetic of the dinner I'm going to make eventually).

From Harry McElhone himself, a Welcome Stranger

Pour 1/2 oz. each of Gin, Cognac or other Brandy, Swedish Punsch, Grenadine, orange juice, and lemon juice (or, instead of 1/2 oz. each of the two juices, 1 oz. of Meyer lemon juice if, like me, you're finishing up the end of this year's stash) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.

People who don't like sweetish cocktails will think this is too sweet.

Your basic mojito.  It was nice with Bacardi Gold, but we need to add white rum to our collection.

Tangerine -- actually Sumo orange -- Margarita.

This can't require a recipe, right?

Vodka, tomato water, pickled chard stem, dash of brine. It's either called a Byproduct, or an Anemic Mary.  I am now drinking my leftovers, instead of eating them.

It's not very good. Needs salt. Also acid. Actually, it may not need to exist at all, but I hate to waste tomato water.

Keep working on this one.   Maybe gaspacho flavors?    Tomato water is a gift from the gods.   It has to lead to something ethereal.

Horseradish and/or wasabi would likely be a positive addition. And/or hot sauce, judiciously applied. I love tomato water, and don't want to overwhelm it.

You should totally be selling "Drink Your Leftovers" tee shirts.

Now there's an idea. Or a line of barware. Sippy cups for the kids. I should try to get Alison Roman to mock me, for publicity.
