So the Dodgers have the Giants exactly where they want them.  The boys in blue slept through game one, got a chance to see a lot of good Giant pitching and allow Giant hitters to exhaust themselves by hitting three homers.  Should be easy now.  (jk)

The Dodgers looked deep in the dugout and found their bats.  Then they dominated the Giants.  Now, they return to LA with homefield advantage (but homefield ad with these teams is next to nothing).  It's now a 3 game series.

So without the aid of the wind, the Giants lost to the Dodgers 7-2.  Now, it's time for all the pundits to stop jumping back and forth favoring whoever won last and pick the actual winner of Thursday's game.  Meanwhile, 538 is liking the Astros.

eta: Wednesday morning 538 retreated and now slightly favors the Dodgers over the Astros.

So the Dodgers beat the Giants on a somewhat controversial called third strike.  Giants, you had other chances.  You lost.  Now LA goes to the NLCS in Atlanta which they are favored to win.

Quite a classic five-gamer, in my opinion.   Great managing moves by Dave Roberts, et al. And Webb (once again) pitched well enough to win; you just gotta score some runs.

So again Roberts has outmanaged the Braves and Snitker.  He managed to pitch Urias without enough rest after a long season and to leave him in while the long balls were flying.  But his advantage is that the Braves have used up a number of relievers and their hitters have used up all the homers in their bats.  Roberts' plan is to get to 2-3 to go back to Atlanta to embarrass the Braves in front of their fans. Sure.

So amazingly the Dodgers equipment manager broke into the Braves locker room and stole their bats.  As a result the boys in blue clobbered the Braves 11-2.  Now, we return to Atlanta where the Dodgers allegedly will have two rested starters ready to pitch games 6 and 7.  Why not.
